Slip, the leader of a group of school bullies who bully Bastian (the main character of the movie), steals a magical book "The Neverending Story" from the school library. Through the book, he gains power over Fantasyland. In the end, Fantasia turns into a realm of evil fantasies of a spoiled boy. The Lord of Fantasy asks Bastian to take the book away from Slip. Several fairy tale creatures are sent from the wonderful world of Fantasia to help Bastian in the real world.
